Principal Dentists

Dr Kranthi K.Nasani, BDS (India, 2002), MSc Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry (Manchester), Cert.Implantology (Salford) Msc Dental Implantology (Edge Hill Uni) GDC: 145446
Dr. Kranthi Kumar Nasani,(KK.) graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India in 2002. After completing his Rotatory Internship in the College of Dental Sciences and Hospital he gained a wide range of experience in General Dental Practice with a special interest in Surgical Dentistry and Endodontics.
He registered with the GDC in 2008 inspired by the modern yet conservative and preventive way of practicing dentistry in the UK. Kranthi joined Newton Dental in September 2008 and continued his training gaining an MSc in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from Manchester University and a Certificate in Implantology from Salford University.
Kranthi is particularly focused in the specialised area of Dental Implantology and is establishing this as his main area of practice in our fully equipped, purpose build implant centre. He takes real pride and personal satisfaction in delivering the highest standards of treatment to his patients and always strives to provide excellent care and a fantastic dental experience. Kranthi also has certification in provision of conscious sedation.
Kranthi likes to socialise, and travel within the UK and abroad and keeping fit.

Tulasi Nasani, BDS (India 2007), GDC: 240927
Dr Tulasi Nasani graduated from NTR University of Health Sciences in India 2008. After completing her Dental Internship, she moved to the UK in 2011. Tulasi has been doing both NHS and Private Dentistry since 2012 and has also done one year certificate training in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry in 2017. Tulasi is currently doing a PG Diploma in Clear Aligner Therapy.
Tulasi strives to deliver Beautiful Smiles to her patients as she strongly believes it plays an integral role in the overall confidence of an individual. Therefore, this has driven her to further improve her qualifications.
Besides dentistry, Tulasi loves spending time with family and friends and travelling. She also enjoys cooking and exploring different cuisines.
Dentists
Dr Venkatesh Ankam, BDS (India 2004), PG Dip Endodontics GDC: 176418
Venkatesh joined the practice in July 2012. He completed his Dental Internship from Rajiv Gandhi University, India in the year 2004 and achieved his UK GDC registration in the year 2009. He has worked as a General Dental Practitioner in the NHS for the past 3 years. He has a special interest in Endodontics and completed a PG Diploma in Endodontics and a PG certificate in Restorative Dentistry. Venkat believes that to be a good dentist, understanding the patient`s needs and providing them with quality and ethical treatment is essential. He enjoys most outdoor sports and activities. He likes adventure sports as well.

Dr Laura Pumford, BDS (Liverpool 2010) GDC: 5869
Laura started her dental career in 1997, qualifying as a dental nurse and later qualified as a dental hygienist in 2001. Laura went on to study dentistry and graduated from Liverpool Dental Hospital in 2010. After a year working in community dentistry, she came into general practice and has worked in both NHS and private practice since. Due to her dental hygiene, she is keen on preventing dental diseases and helps patients with this. Laura has helped many nervous patients over the years and built their confidence by spending time making them feel at ease. In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending it with her daughter and another enjoyment Laura has, is watching live music with friends and family.
Dr William Bingham, BDS (Liverpool 2022) GDC: 302282
William graduated with honours from the University of Liverpool in 2022, also achieving a distinction in restorative dentistry. Originally from Halifax, West Yorkshire, he has a strong passion for all aspects of general dental care, with a particular interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
Known for his calm, gentle approach, William is dedicated to putting patients at ease and building trusting relationships. He takes the time to listen carefully to each patient’s concerns, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and fully supported throughout their treatment journey. His compassionate nature, combined with his attention to detail, allows him to deliver care that is both clinically excellent and personally tailored.
Outside of the practice, William enjoys both watching and playing football and is a dedicated Bradford City supporter.

Dr Hira Hamid, GDC: 307569
Hira qualified at Gandhara University in Pakistan in 2011 and joined Newton Dental in November 2023. She has a strong passion for general dentistry and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a calm and reassuring manner.
Known for her warm and caring nature, Hira takes pride in making patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment. She combines clinical expertise with a gentle, attentive approach, ensuring each patient receives thoughtful and personalised care.
Outside of dentistry, Hira has a keen interest in interior design, where her eye for detail is clearly reflected. She is also well known within the team as a passionate foodie and enjoys sharing her favourite recipes with colleagues.

Dr Nimra Khan, BDS (University of Plymouth 2023) GDC: 308864
Dr Nimra Khan joined Newton Dental in 2025 and is known for her fun, outgoing personality and great sense of humour. She is kind, caring, and instantly puts her patients at ease, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere at every appointment. Dr Khan prides herself on building positive, trusting relationships with her patients and ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their treatment. Outside of dentistry, Nimra loves to travel and explore new places with her family and friends and also has a keen eye for fashion.

Dr Vijay Anbukumar, DDM (Lithuania 2022) GDC: 303422
Vijay started Newton Dental in October 2024. Vijay Anbukumar is a dedicated dental professional who graduated from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in Kaunas, Lithuania. He is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry in Manchester, further advancing his expertise in modern dental techniques and patient-centered care. With a special interest in implantology. Vijay is committed to providing high-quality, long-lasting solutions for his patients. Outside of his professional pursuits, he enjoys playing football and go-karting on the weekends, bringing the same energy and precision to his hobbies as he does to his clinical work.

Dr Maria Donnelly, BDS (University of Liverpool, 2025) GDC:327531
Maria joined the team in September 2025.
Originally from Ireland, Maria graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2025 and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients feel more confident in their smiles and is dedicated to creating a calm, welcoming environment where everyone feels at ease. Maria takes pride in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care and building trusting relationships with her patients.
Outside of dentistry, Maria has recently developed an interest in the gym and running, having completed her first half marathon. She also loves spending her downtime relaxing with friends and family.
Extended Team

Adele Hughes, BSc(Hons), BDS, MFDS, Clin Ed (RCPSG), PgDip Implants: GDC 257831
Adele moved to the North West in 2005 and gained her Bachelors of Dental Surgery from Liverpool University in 2015. Since 2005, she has worked in both primary and secondary care. She has a special interest in all aspects of oral surgery and conscious sedation. With 10 years experience in both NHS and private practice, she currently completes treatment under local, general anaesthesia and conscious sedation. Adele currently is involved in the training of recent graduates concerning both oral surgery and sedation. Outside of work, she has a son who keeps her very busy. She also loves to spend any spare time anywhere in the sunshine or walking in the sometimes sunny Lake District.

Carl Kearney, Dental Technician: GDC 116714
Carl is a highly skilled dental technician with over 30 years experience, who plays a vital role in supporting our implant team at the practice. With a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of restorative dentistry, he specialises in the design and fabrication of high-quality implant restorations that prioritise both function and aesthetics.
Working closely with our clinicians, Carl ensures seamless communication, helping to deliver precise, patient-specific outcomes. His collaborative approach and commitment to excellence contribute significantly to the success of complex implant cases, from small cases to full-arch rehabilitations. Carl is dedicated to staying up to date with the latest materials, techniques, and digital workflows, allowing him to consistently produce restorations that meet the highest standards of durability and natural appearance. His craftsmanship, reliability, and passion for dental technology make him an invaluable member of our team.
When he's not dedicating himself to designing and creating perfect smiles, he enjoys time with his family & dogs, travelling, and playing guitar. He enjoys live music; as well as watching a range of bands and musicians, Carl also provides vocals and bass guitar skills to his own band performances.
Hygiene/Therapists
Ceri Cameron, GDC: 185345
Ceri has over 17 years experience in the dental field having qualified at the University of Liverpool in 2009 as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. She has worked over this time in the NHS, Private and Hospital sector gaining a wealth of experience. Ceri regularly attends courses to enhance her continual professional development and ensure her knowledge and treatments are always at the forefront of dentistry.
As well as being able to provide restorative treatment Ceri is committed to providing patient specific preventative and educational services, ensuring patients know the best way to improve and maintain good oral health.
Ceri keeps fit with horse riding and walking. She has a keen interest in photography and loves spending time with her 2 children.

Kathryn Carey, GDC: 150865
Kathryn began her career in dentistry as a dental nurse before qualifying as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist in 2012. She is passionate about preventive care and is dedicated to helping patients understand and improve their oral health through education, encouragement, and tailored advice.
Kathryn takes pride in empowering patients to take control of their oral hygiene, working closely with them to achieve and maintain long-term dental health. Her calm and supportive approach helps patients feel at ease while she delivers high-quality care focused on prevention and early intervention.
Outside of work, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her partner and two children, and she loves supporting her daughters in their hobbies and activities. She also enjoys socialising with friends, reading, and relaxing with a good old true crime documentary.

Naira Gasparetto, GDC: 295015
Naira joined the team in September 2022 and is a valued general dentist with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, accessible care. She is dedicated to providing the essentials of dentistry that patients need and want, ensuring treatment is always practical, effective, and tailored to individual needs.
Known for her warm and attentive approach, Naira takes the time to listen to her patients and build trusting relationships, helping them feel comfortable and well cared for at every visit. She is passionate about oral health and is always happy to support both patients and colleagues, contributing positively to the wider team environment.
Outside of dentistry, Naira enjoys spending time with her children and exploring new places, making the most of family life and new experiences.
Dental Nurses

Rachel Collins, Practice Administrator GDC: 140204
Rachel joined Newton Dental in 2007 and went on to gain further qualifications in Oral Health Care in 2009. She later completed her Implantology qualification at the ICE Implant Centre of Excellence and has developed extensive knowledge in implant dentistry through over a decade of close collaboration with Dr Nasani within our Implant Centre.
Over the years, Rachel’s role has naturally progressed into practice administration, where she continues to be a highly valued member of the team. Her care, compassion, and dedication shine through in everything she does, and she plays an important role in supporting both patients and colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and three children, as well as relaxing with friends and unwinding at home with her cats.

Laura Reeves, Head Dental Nurse, GDC: 151761
Laura is the Head Dental Nurse at the practice and brings a wealth of experience to her role. With many years working within dentistry, she plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the clinical environment and supporting both patients and the wider dental team.
Known for her calm and reassuring presence, Laura has a naturally gentle and soothing manner that helps put patients at ease, especially those who may feel nervous about treatment. Her caring and thoughtful approach means she consistently goes the extra mile to make sure every patient feels comfortable, supported, and well looked after. Laura is a valued member of the team and is always ready to lend support wherever it is needed. In her spare time, Laura like to go on adventures with her son and enjoy quality time.

Gemma Whittle, GDC: 204403
Gemma qualified in 2009 with her NVQ level 3. She is an outgoing and dynamic member of the team who loves to make people laugh. Gemma enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and has a keen interest in Invisalign Treatment and Dental Implants. In her spare time, Gemma enjoys bird watching and listening to music with her family. Gemma also has an interest in tractors and enjoys visiting tractor shows with her friends and learning about the amazing technology behind them.
Naomi Van-Berkel, Qualified Dental Nurse, Treatment Coordinator and Social Media Lead
GDC: 284279
Naomi qualified in 2019 with her NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing and joined the team in 2020. She is highly organised, enthusiastic, and continually eager to expand her skills and knowledge within dentistry.
In her role as a Treatment Coordinator, Naomi plays a key part in guiding patients through their dental journeys from the very first point of contact right through to completion of treatment. She takes pride in ensuring each journey is personal, tailored, and fully supported, helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident at every stage of their care.
Naomi is always on hand to support both patients and colleagues, and her warm, welcoming nature helps put people at ease both in person and throughout their treatment experience. She also helps capture and share authentic, real-life content from patient journeys, allowing others to better understand procedures and feel reassured and engaged with the practice—whether they are visiting in person or connecting with us through our social media channels.
Outside of work, Naomi enjoys spending time with her son, dog, and family. She is a keen home cook and loves preparing meals for her loved ones.

Daniel Williams, Qualified Dental Nurse, and Operational's Manager

Danny joined the team in 2019 as a dental receptionist before progressing into clinical training, completing his NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing in 2021. Alongside his clinical background, he is also skilled in producing bleaching trays and night guards in-house, utilising our advanced digital technology to support efficient and high-quality patient care.
Danny now also plays a key role as Operational Manager of the practice, where he helps oversee the day-to-day running of the clinic, ensuring smooth workflow, effective coordination across teams, and a consistently high standard of patient experience. His hands-on approach and strong understanding of both clinical and administrative processes make him a vital link within the practice.
Known for his positive, cheerful attitude, Danny is a fantastic asset to the team and contributes significantly to maintaining an organised, supportive, and patient-focused environment.
Outside of work, Danny enjoys going to the gym and learning about exotic animals.
Layla Syed, GDC: 312236
Layla joined the team in 2022 while working towards her Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing at Manchester University Dental Hospital, and she qualified in June 2023. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is a valued member of the team, providing excellent support to both patients and clinicians.
Layla takes pride in assisting across a wide range of treatments, with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and composite bonding procedures, where she continues to develop her skills and knowledge. Her calm and caring approach helps put patients at ease, ensuring they feel comfortable and well supported throughout their treatment.
Outside of work, Layla is a dog lover who also enjoys cooking in her spare time and aspires to run her own business one day, sharing her passion for cuisine and creativity in the kitchen.

Kayleigh Barber
Kayleigh joined Newton Dental in November 2024 and has quickly become a valued member of the team. She is a bubbly and approachable character, always ready to support both colleagues and patients, helping to create a positive and welcoming environment within the practice.
She has a keen interest in both general and cosmetic dentistry and is enthusiastic about developing her clinical knowledge and skills across all aspects of patient care. Kayleigh is committed to learning and growing within her role, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality support and contributing to excellent patient experiences.

Sarah Holland, GDC: 312106
Sarah joined the team in March 2022 while working towards her Dental Nursing apprenticeship and went on to qualify in June 2023. She is a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong passion for developing her skills and knowledge within the dental industry.
Sarah is a valued member of the team, always eager to learn new techniques and support both patients and colleagues wherever needed. Her positive attitude and dedication contribute to a calm and efficient clinical environment. She is currently furthering her studies at university to become a dental technician, building on her clinical experience to expand her expertise within dentistry.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys crocheting and creates beautiful, unique designs that she often shares with the team.
Trainee Dental Nurses

Georgia Winstanley
Georgia joined the team in April 2024 while working towards her Dental Nursing Apprenticeship. She is a kind-hearted and compassionate individual, and this is reflected in the way she cares for both patients and supports her colleagues at Newton Dental.
Georgia is dedicated to developing her skills and knowledge within dentistry and is always eager to learn and take on new responsibilities. Her calm and caring approach helps to create a reassuring environment for patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well looked after throughout their visit.
Outside of work, Georgia enjoys spending time with family and friends and going on holiday.

Keira Samuel
Keira joined the team in June 2024 while working towards her Dental Nursing Apprenticeship. She is a bright, driven, and compassionate individual who brings a calm and positive presence to the practice.
Keira enjoys listening to music and often starts her day with her headphones in during her commute, helping her feel focused and ready for the day ahead. She has a naturally soft and caring nature, which helps put patients at ease and ensures they feel comfortable and well supported throughout their visits.
Keira has developed a strong interest in Dental Implantology and actively assists the Implant Team with all aspects of implant cases, showing enthusiasm and attention to detail in her clinical support role. She is eager to continue learning and is committed to furthering her studies in the future, with clear ambition to grow and progress within dentistry.

Faith Collins
Faith joined the team in April 2025 while working towards her Dental Nursing Apprenticeship. She is a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is keen to progress and develop her career within dental nursing. Faith is currently enjoying all aspects of dentistry, from general dentistry through to cosmetic treatments, and is building her knowledge and confidence across a wide range of clinical procedures.
Faith is a valued member of the team, known for her positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. She is always eager to take on new challenges and supports both patients and colleagues with care and professionalism, helping to create a welcoming and reassuring environment within the practice.

Keibhy Powell
Keibhy joined the team in April 2025 while working towards her Dental Nursing Apprenticeship. She is working hard to develop her skills and confidence within her role as a dental nurse and has a keen interest in cosmetic treatments, where she enjoys learning more about modern techniques and patient-focused care.
Keibhy is a bubbly and friendly character with a naturally caring nature, which is reflected in the way she supports patients at Newton Dental. She helps create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, ensuring patients feel comfortable and well looked after throughout their visit.
She is a valued member of the team who is enthusiastic, motivated, and eager to continue progressing within dentistry. Keibhy is committed to building her knowledge and developing her career as she gains more experience in all aspects of dental nursing.
Outside of work, Keibhy is a music and dance enthusiast who enjoys attending live events and seeing different artists tour across the UK.

Olivia Burton
Olivia joined the team in April 2025 while working towards her Dental Nursing Apprenticeship and has a keen interest in orthodontic treatments. She is a well-organised and enthusiastic individual who is eager to develop her skills and knowledge within dentistry, consistently supporting both her team members and patients throughout their dental journeys.
Olivia is a valued member of the team who approaches her role with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail. She enjoys learning new techniques and is particularly interested in orthodontics, where she is keen to build her experience and understanding of patient care throughout treatment.
Her supportive and approachable nature helps patients feel comfortable and reassured during their visits, contributing to a smooth and positive experience at the practice.

Receptionists

Stacey Buck
Stacey joined the team in March 2023 and is a true technology wizard, playing a key role in supporting the practice with digital systems and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She is a great asset to the team, always ready to help, troubleshoot, and keep things organised, making her an invaluable part of the day-to-day running of the practice.
Stacey is a bubbly and approachable character, and her positive energy brightens up the reception area, helping to create a welcoming and friendly environment for both patients and colleagues. She is always happy to assist and goes out of her way to ensure patients feel comfortable and well looked after from the moment they arrive.
Outside of work, Stacey enjoys spending time with friends and family and is a passionate food lover who enjoys trying new dishes and experiences.

Rachel Catherall
Rachel joined the team in March 2023 and is a highly organised and dependable member of the reception team, always on hand to help others and ensure everything runs smoothly day to day. She takes great pride in her work, maintaining a calm, efficient, and welcoming front-of-house environment for both patients and colleagues.
Rachel is thorough in everything she does and is known for her attention to detail, reliability, and positive attitude. Her organised approach helps keep the reception area running seamlessly, contributing to an excellent patient experience from the moment they arrive.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys taking her dog for long walks and spending time in nature, making the most of the outdoors to relax and unwind.
